This event will be hosted by 'Start-ups in London Libraries' Champions representing the boroughs of Lewisham, Lambeth, Southwark and Greenwich.
The panel event will include local start-up businesses from each featured borough and will also feature a local successful black business founder as a special guest (business TBC).
The topic for the discussion is – “Local black businesses in 2020”.
If you have any burning questions about starting up in business, local business support, tips for success and diversity within business, now's your chance to ask them. The event will be hosted on Zoom.
This event is brought to you as a collaboration between the London boroughs of Lewisham, Lambeth, Southwark, Greenwich and in partnership with the British Library's Business and IP Centre. It is a supplementary event to the Start-ups in London Libraries programme (see below) but is open to all and will benefit London based businesses in an early stage of development.
The Start-ups in London Libraries project is designed to help aspiring entrepreneurs turn their business idea into a reality. Through our network of 10 London boroughs, we deliver free, grass roots support on your doorstep.
Whether you have always wanted to start a business, or have just taken your first steps into entrepreneurship, we will give you the skills, information and know-how you need to build a viable business.
