This Black History Month we have decided to do something special and create our first ever BAME Leadership Conference to #MoveToEquality
BAME Leadership Conference...

aims to connect industry with future talent. At the same time, we want to continue the conversation and the momentum created by the death of George Floyd by equipping those in industry with the tools to move the dial to Equality.

The Event Theme:

Tackling the elephant in the room. And helping organisations be colour brave!

4.30 pm - Keynote: Tackling the elephant in the room helping organisations be colour brave by Dr Bijna K Dasanī, Ursula Henry and Rene Carayol

5.15 pm - BAME Leaders Panel : Showcasing BAME Role Models in various Sectors

BAME role models from different industry sectors will speak on the subject: “What I have faced as a BAME person in my career and how industry has moved to equality”. We will close with the question of how we can activate change to accelerate the move to equality as individuals and as an industry.

6.00 pm - Free Time: Attendees have the option of attending one of the following:

Employer Zone: Employers sharing their opportunities and programmes with our dream hunters Speed mentoring: Connecting to young people to talk to industry leaders Taking a break and returning for the final workshop

7.00 pm - Workshops: Tackling the elephant in the room. Fierce conversations on race and providing attendees with the tools and techniques to handle situations which currently are left unchallenged
