Black Career Conference (BCC) provides Black students, graduates, and entrepreneurs the opportunity to learn from industry professionals and each other. The conference’s programming spans across industries to provide streamlined opportunities for both attendees aligned to a particular career path and to those open to exploring their career options.
The most recent Black Career Conference hosted in January 2020 drew in over 250 attendees rendering BCC the largest career conference of its kind in Canada.Conference Schedule
BCC 2021 will be delivered virtually and expand into a two-day conference:
Day 1: Black Entrepreneurship will centre around the BCC pitch competition open to all Black entrepreneurs. $20,000 will be awarded to the winning teams. If you would like to learn more about the pitch competition and participate, please apply here by December 18th, 2020.
Day 2: Black Careers will include several panel discussions featuring speakers representing several industries including: management consulting, investment banking, finance, accounting, marketing, medicine, international development, law, politics, technology, engineering, creative industries, etc.
Keynote addresses by notable Black Canadian professionals will serve as the highlight of Day 2 which will later conclude with an open networking session with all hiring firms and representatives in attendance.
