Meet Selina Flavius, Founder of Black Girl Finance

Black Girl Finance was founded in 2019 by Selina Flavius.

She has created a financial coaching company dedicated to UK Black women and girls. To date she has helped hundreds of women get clear and focused on Financial goals, we get our clients super comfortable, thinking about money, talking about money and taking action to reach their financial goals.

We work with women who are experiencing stress and anxiety around finances they may be struggling with debt or they may be struggling to reach certain lifestyle goals they have for themselves, ie, getting on the property ladder, saving to be able to pivot careers, or start a business.

She has also contributed to discussions within the UK media (The Guardian, FT adviser, Bloomberg QuickTake and BBC 1Xtra talk ) around issues such as the gender pay gap, the ethnicity pay gap and racial wealth gap.  Selina, believes that due to the intersection of the above gaps, it's more important than ever for women to take charge of their personal finances.

She launched the Black Girl Finance Podcast in July 2020- search for Black Girl Finance on all major Podcast Platforms and even more exciting than that she has recently signed a book deal with the Publishers Quercus Books.
