I am thrilled and excited to say that my novel BREAKING THE MAAFA CHAIN, based on the story of the young Sarah Forbes Bonetta and her relationship with Queen Victoria, is to be published by Jacaranda Publishing in 2021.?
I am so happy that the painting of Sarah, Queen Victoria’s black goddaughter, created by Hannah Uzor is being displayed at Osbourne House, Queen Victoria’s Isle of Wight home, as part of a plan to feature “overlooked” black figures across English Heritage sites.
