After looking forward to this for so long, have come away so disappointed, it pains.

This was a total travesty and hash job of a portrayal of an artform and scene to which I'm encapsulated by.

Who was responsible for the research on this? Casting was haphazard in places too, not to mention the annoying mic man on the sound system portrayed by the usually 'okay-ish' actor Kadeem Ramsay and his out of sync (by decades) mic banter, using phrases more akin to late 90s bashment sound system era and as such, was not reflective nor evoked memories of a proper blues dance.

The only demographic I can imagine giving this the thumbs up, are white liberals in an effort to appear to be 'down with the program', no pun intended.

Utter shite!
